What a Billy Joel Concert Reminded Me About Social Video
I recently attended a Billy Joel concert (yes he’s an icon especially if you’re from New York). But after belting out his tunes (hey Uptown Girl), I couldn't help but notice the way they used video -- particularly to keep the attention of the crowd.
They showed b-roll footage (read this article to understand more about this) to keep people’s attention. Because without backup dancers or heavy choreography, it’s really just his fingers on a piano!
